Wild creature chasing a little girl

"The photograph was taken three days before Sarah disappeared—but the truly terrifying part wasn't that she was in the picture. It was what was standing behind her."

Sarah had always loved exploring abandoned places.

When she heard about Blackwood Manor, an old mansion hidden deep in the forest, she couldn't resist. Locals claimed strange things happened there. Some said they heard whispers coming from empty rooms. Others claimed to see a tall figure watching from the windows at night.

Sarah laughed at the stories.

One Saturday afternoon, she packed her camera and headed to the manor alone.

The house was even creepier than she expected.

The front door hung open. Dust covered everything. The air smelled damp and rotten.

Still, she continued exploring, snapping photographs as she went.

By sunset, she had hundreds of pictures.

Nothing unusual.

Or so she thought.

That night, she transferred the photos to her laptop.

As she scrolled through them, one image made her stop.

It was a picture she had taken in the mansion's grand staircase.

Sarah stood smiling in the foreground.

Behind her, at the top of the stairs, stood a tall figure.

It wasn't there when she took the photo.

Its body was unnaturally thin.

Its arms were too long.

And its face...

Its face was hidden in darkness.

Sarah stared at the image for several minutes.

Then she convinced herself it was a trick of the light.

Until she noticed something else.

Every photo after that one showed the figure.

Closer each time.

In one picture it stood at the end of a hallway.

In the next it was halfway down the corridor.

Then it was standing in a doorway.

Then directly behind her.

Sarah's hands trembled.

The final photo made her scream.

The creature's face was inches from the back of her head.

And for the first time, its eyes were visible.

They were looking directly at the camera.

At the bottom of the image was a timestamp.

11:47 AM.

Sarah checked her watch.

It was exactly 11:47 PM.

At that moment, a floorboard creaked behind her.

Slowly, she turned around.

No one was there.

Relieved, she looked back at her laptop.

A new photograph had appeared.

One she had never taken.

It showed her sitting at her desk.

Looking at the screen.

Taken from directly behind her.

And standing in the corner of the room...

Was the creature.

Smiling.

The next morning, Sarah was gone.

Police found her laptop still open.

The final photograph remained on the screen.

But investigators noticed something strange.

Every few days, the creature appeared slightly closer to the camera.

No matter who checked the image.

No matter where the laptop was stored.

And today...

The creature is no longer standing in the corner.

It's standing directly behind the person looking at the photo.
