LARAKHOURY is a Lebanese slow fashion brand designing avant-garde womenswear for those who choose freedom and individuality — inspiring self-expression through deconstructed silhouettes and timeless design.

Designed and manufactured in Beirut, the LKSOS Sewing Pattern Kit guides you through crafting this dress yourself, with room for personal adjustments. Skill level: Beginner.

The Dress: Large fabric panels bring volume and flow, with an asymmetrical hemline — longer at the back — and a deep scoop neckline. An easy pull-on design with functional inseam pockets keeps it practical, finished with a flattering A-line silhouette and clean baby hems.

Offering an in-depth look into the practice of artist Abbas Akhavan (abbas 🧿), this monograph surveys a body of work developed over the course of his career.

Akhavan’s practice ranges from site-specific ephemeral installations to drawing, video, and performance. His work often explores the domestic sphere as a space suspended between hospitality and hostility, while more recent projects have turned toward landscapes at the edges of the home: the garden, backyard, and other cultivated environments.

Edited by Amy Zion and featuring texts by Omar Kholeif and Marina Roy, this publication provides valuable insight into one of the most compelling contemporary artistic practices today.

🕯️ Orange Blossoms of Damascus — A blend of bergamot, orange blossom and sandalwood, transporting you to the dessert shops of old Damascus.

🕯️ Palaces of Isfahan — A regal blend of oud, leather, musk and myrrh, evoking the historic Persian palaces of Isfahan.

🕯️ Hindukush — A journey through the hippie trail of the 70s, following the Karakoram Highway from Afghanistan’s Hindukush range to the Himalayas and beyond, with notes of cannabis plant, light musk and to***co.

🕯️ Monsoons of Mumbai — The scent of the first monsoon rains, with green leaves, wet earth and patchouli — capturing petrichor, that moment when plants and earth come alive after the first fall of rain.

Each candle is crafted from a custom blend of bee-soy wax with a braided cotton wick, set in an amber glass tumbler — 8 ounces (230g), 3.4 inches (8.6cm) tall, with a burn time of roughly 50 hours.

‘Dawn Plate’ by Ilái Sarái (ILÁI SARÁI ) ✨

A ceramic duo that brings warmth and character to every table, Dawn Plate pairs a 24 cm dinner plate with a 15 cm dessert plate, united in a rich burnt orange glaze that catches the light with a soft, glossy sheen. Sweeping across each piece, hand-painted calligraphic script in deep maroon lends an artisanal, handwritten touch, making every plate feel personal and one-of-a-kind.

The calligraphy itself carries deep meaning: written one after the other across the plates are the seven symbolic valleys from Attar’s Sufi epic poem, The Conference of the Birds: Talab (Quest), Eshq (Love), Ma’arefat (Knowledge), Estighna (Detachment), Tawhid (Unity), Heyrat (Bewilderment), and Faqr va Fanna (Poverty and Annihilation), representing the seven stages of the Sufi path to enlightenment.

Founded by Saina Babaee, Ilái Sarái is a Persianate luxury design house dedicated to bringing art, culture, and elegance into every space. Ilai Sarai revives forgotten artistry and empowers a new generation of creators, particularly women. Through her work, Saina reclaims the spirit of the female warrior, bringing back the soul of artisans whose work once graced royal courts and family tables.
