Before it makes anything, the loom is just an object in the room.
Wood worn smooth by hands that came before ours. Joints, beams, cords, built to last generations rather than years.
Some of the looms in our workshop are old enough to have their own history, separate from anything ever woven on them.
Come see them standing in the Old Bazaar. Not as tools on display, but as objects still in use.

A single color, cut with white. There is no pattern here in the conventional sense. The design is the material: the way the fibers lie, the way the weave structure emerges from the surface, the way the color changes with the angle of the light.

Woven with a thicker warp thread at a lower density, the structure is more legible at the surface.

Finished border with a special textured treatment and a closing embroidered row. Both faces are complete and equally usable.
