Having worked in the finance industry since 1984, I spent many years in Senior Business Development and sales roles. I took 8 years out to have my two children and worked in retail sales - setting up and running the Customer Services Department in a David Jones store. Returning to finance in 2017, I had to work my way back up into

a Senior Business Development role. COVID-19 saw me working from h

ome 100% of the time whilst my two children and husband also were home full-time. I found I was becoming increasingly bored and frustrated. Deciding that I needed a distraction - a different interest - something to keep the right side of the brain active and engaged, Shiralees' Crystals was born. Having always loved all things crystal from a very young age, I decided to source and provide beautiful, unique and meaningful pieces to everyone else out there who is seeking that "something else".
