At Scanlan Theodore Chatswood, a carefully orchestrated sequence of spaces unfolds through contrasts and moods. Rich umber lacquered walls meet charcoal stone flooring and vibrant turquoise cabinetry, creating a dramatic threshold that draws visitors deeper into the boutique.

Beyond the entry, the palette softens into a more intimate atmosphere. Warm ochre hues, textured wool carpets, brushed metal surfaces and flowing mocha drapery create a sense of quiet luxury.

Created alongside Pete Kennon of Studio Kennon, SIR. at The Strand explores texture, atmosphere, and intentional contrast. Illuminated ceiling panels cast a soft glow across ribbed mosaic surfaces, while a monolithic island wrapped in sienna-toned glass blocks grounds the space with sculptural presence. Layers of red acrylic and fur-lined detailing reveal a moodier, more intimate side beyond.
