We have a Mr.6 in the house!!

As you might know, Jordan’s birthday was the day before Mothers Day. I thought I’d share his cake (& cake topper 😜).

Jordan was adamant he wanted a Minecraft cake this year, despite me offering many other suggestions 😅 I hunted for inspiration pics for hourssssssssss trying to find something we liked. This was our attempt of ‘Minecraft but make it cute’ 🥰

The most magical day of my life was the day I became a mum 💕

6 years ago, the day before Mothers Day, our precious Jordan came in to this world! Mothers Day will always be extra special for us.

Being a mum isn’t always easy. The sleepless nights, the constant worry, the endless piles of washing, the doctors appts, toys & mess everywhere, are they eating enough, are they making friends, are they growing up to be a decent human, the rounds of sickness. There is always something (or a pile of things that need to be done. It never ends. But no matter how hard it feels, I will always show up for my children. I will always try my best. Even if some days just seem too hard. Because from the very first moment I held them in my arms, I knew my job was to protect them & love them with everything I have.

Jordan & Charlotte are the most precious gifts I will ever receive 🥰

I was spoilt with brekky in bed & handmade gifts from school, then we did some painting, playing with Jordan’s new birthday presents, trip to the skate park, some shopping in the afternoon & a lovely dinner out with Nana & Poppa.

I’d love to know when did your kids stop believing in the Easter Bunny/Santa/Tooth Fairy etc?

Jordan had his first day back at school yesterday (Tues was a pupil free day) and the Easter Bunny had visited school over the weekend! So many kids running around yelling ‘that’s fake, that’s fake.’ Poor little Jordan must have been holding on to this information all day and on the car ride home he asks me ‘Mummy, what does Fake mean.’ Of course I told him what the word means, but I already knew why he was asking 😢😢 He is still 5!

I hope we can keep the magic going just a little longer.
