🌍 Saving the Planet Starts With Simple Acts — Like Planting a Tree

Planting a tree is more than a gesture — it’s a promise to the future. Every sapling strengthens our environment, cleans our air, and creates a healthier world for the generations who will follow.

At Rotary, we believe small actions create big impact.
đź’š One tree today becomes a legacy of hope tomorrow.

WHY ROTARY: thinking of joining a service group that gives back to community? Rotarians think big, here an example of a program of scale.
The Rotary Foundation is pleased to announce the 2026 Programs of Scale grant recipient: Collaboration for Sustainable Water and Sanitation Systems in Haiti. By expanding people’s access to water, sanitation, and hygiene, increasing demand for these services, and strengthening the governance of local water systems, this program aims to improve living conditions and reduce the incidence of waterborne disease by 25% in three local government areas in Haiti.

The cause of World Immunisation Week continues
we (Rotary) recently celebrated World Immunisation Week and the fact that we can protect communities from preventable diseases. Thanks to Rotary’s leadership in global immunization efforts, more than 20 million people who might have been paralyzed by polio can walk today. Since 1988, Rotary and our partners have reduced polio cases worldwide by more than 99.9%. Learn how our members continue to champion disease prevention by supporting vaccination programs that protect against polio, measles, and other life-threatening diseases

Vocational visit to Swan Reach and the River Murray International Dark Sky Reserve Observatory. The clouds dissipated and the observatory roof opened, allowing us to see the stars and focus on a nebula 167,000 light years away — an amazing experience.

We stayed at the Swan Reach Hotel and Gateway to the Galaxies Accommodation.

Our sincere thanks to John George OAM, visionary and passionate advocate for dark sky astronomy, whose knowledge and enthusiasm made the visit unforgettable.
