The Uiver Restoration Project have taken over what is thought to be the largest private collection of aviation books in Australia. The collection was owned by Keith Meggs, Keith was a fighter pilot in the RAAF . He flew Mustangs and Meteors in the Korean war and went on the become one of the Australias foremost authorities on Australian aviation . He wrote the definitive history on Australian aviation "Australian Built Aircraft And The Industry" over a period of 50 years, of which he completed 2 volumes with the 3rd and 4th volumes still unpublished. The collection consists of over 2,500 volumes which cover nearly every aspect of aviation. From coffee table books, biographies, WW2 technical manuals to Janes All the world's aircraft " (over 20 volumes).
