My team of Consultants goes by the name Team Ripple.

I chose this name because we see ourselves as ripple makers — people who believe that one small action can create a much bigger impact. Today we made a ripple in Armidale . Check out video for how.

Our philosophy is simple:

One decision to do something that makes a difference.

You never really know where that one action might lead.

That’s what I love about Mix It Forward too. A Thermomix that someone has traded in doesn’t have to be the end of its story. Refurbished and passed on to a community organisation, it can become hundreds of meals, new skills, shared food and practical help.

While I’m doing a couple of Thermo cooking things this arv, I thought I’d invite my Armidale( or close by) people to come and see me at the Markets in the Mall tomorrow. I’ll be giving free lessons on the new Cookidoo updates . Have you heard ? Cookidoo Assistant ( wow you have to see this one to believe it) +
recipe translation , new recipe collections and more. Come and talk to my TM7 . Try out the updated features of Cookidoo. If you have a Cookidoo subscription this is for you, even if yours is not a TM7.
I’ll be there 8 am -1pm.
If you are not nearby , message me to talk you through the new Cookidoo stuff. I can do that online with you.
Anyway back to finish if the mashed potatoes and then make the royal icing for those honey jumbles.

I’m really looking forward to next week, when I get to deliver this refurbished TM6 to the Armidale Women’s Shelter. ❤️

As part of our Mix It Forward program, Team Leaders ( yep I’m one now) have the opportunity to offer a refurbished Thermomix to a local community organisation — and I’m so pleased this one is coming home to Armidale.

Thermomix Australia New Zealand is doing a fantastic job taking machines that have been traded in for the next model, refurbishing them to as-new condition, and then putting them back into the community where they can do some real good.

And this one is going to get a workout!

The team at the Shelter prepare hundreds of meals every week, so I can’t wait to help them get set up, show them what this clever machine can do and, hopefully, make one small part of an enormous job just a little easier.

From one kitchen to another — this is what Mix It Forward is all about. 💚 No wonder I love this job!
