Always nice to catch up with my friend & Coorparoo neighbor Atko & his team in Wooloongabba. Their food is always spot on, also great value. Atko is serving our all Ethiopian Super Natural blend in the second grinder, and it’s also his preferred option in the cold brew. Parking is a challenge as it’s near Park Rd train station but it’s totally worth the effort to get there. It’s a lovely, relaxing place to hang out.

Strange times but we have some great news Brisbane.

The Bonnie Prince Charles kicked off a couple of months ago as a pop up by experienced operators Kris and Bonnie within Le Bon Bar, in the historic Wooloongabba precinct near the Mater Hospital. The fit out is exquisite and C’es Bon Restaurant is attached. Kris and Bonnie quietly started serving coffee from several roasters using multiple brew methods initially making do with the existing coffee equipment and a mad scientist brew bar using lab equipment. They know the area well and have a loyal following having operated The Little Prince nearly.

We were invited to join their rotating coffee line up. Since then we have done our best to support them with some equipment upgrades &

Now the bar and restaurant have reopened and the food is incredible. The cafe now offers breakfast & lunch, plus when they close around 2pm you can stay at the bar or head into the restaurant any time.

Yesterday with the help of Andrew we replaced the old GB5 with our Cafe Racer green renegade. It’s a lovely aesthetic match with the copper and blonde timber of the fit out. This version of the racer is authentic, beautiful, timeless, and totally stock from the with copper panels, timber and leather details.

Can’t wait to see this place flourish and share it with all of you. The equipment upgrade will allow these guys to push out many more coffees with consistency and efficiency while maintaining a focus on customers. The machine is a showpiece, a workhorse and also a real bag of coffee tricks in the right hands.

And we’re excited to add The Bonnie Prince Charles to the very special list of places you can experience .

But they don’t look this good inside. She steams, but is Zoe a punk? Her drip tray is actually a photo studio for yr latte art (not mine).
