A big sincere thank you for all the genuine love, interest and support from this community lately!
Vintage as Mumma has been a passion project of mine for years now - if you've been following along, you'll know i've been selling vintage online and in an antiques hall for a while now, but this market feels like a big deal! This will be the first time putting my face to my brand, the first time meeting my customer base and the first time I can fully show off my curation as a collection.

WW1 BRASS TRENCH VASES

These two needed a special mention from my epic haul over the last few days.

Brass trench vases were made from artillery shell casings at the end of the war. Likely 37mm French army casings for at least one of these.

Soldiers tended to prefer this pocket size vase so they could travel with them in their packs to take them back home.

The gorgeous applied coat of arms was to symbolise victory and strength and endurance during the war.

I'm still in awe over this really cool piece of history!
They are packed and ready to find their new home at the Lilydale Antiques and Collectables Fair
