A day in the life WFH with Endometriosis.
On days when the pain goes above a 7, I move my work from the office to the lounge room.
I create a cosy set up and try to have everything close by that I might need throughout the day.
While rest is important, I struggle with not feeling productive and like I am waisting my time. So instead of trying to force my self into the office, I choose less stressful tasks that I can do for my business from the couch.
These include crocheting new products, embroidery designs for books, admin work/website updates and social media posts.
By allowing myself to do these tasks from a comfortable spot, I am able to rest and still feel like I am contributing to my business, instead of forcing myself to work and be in even more pain later, or completely resting and then feeling guilty I got nothing done.
This is not to say that on an extreme pain day I would continue to work, sometimes full on rest is really what is necessary, but when I feel I can manage, this is the perfect balance for me.
Always listen to your body first, and do what works best for you!
