Research continues to show that women bring enormous value to leadership roles. Companies with greater gender diversity in senior leadership are more likely to outperform their peers financially, and women are often recognised for strengths in communication, negotiation, empathy and building consensus—skills that create stronger teams and better outcomes.
In policing, emergency services, government and business, effective negotiation can prevent conflict, build trust and keep communities safe. These aren’t “soft skills” – they’re leadership superpowers.
And when girls see women leading with confidence and compassion, they begin to imagine themselves doing the same.
