The End • 4 years ago, when my eldest was only 5 months old, I started .ivy. For me, it was something to keep me sane, something for me and something to help through the groundhog days of . Plus, it let me connect with oh so many like minded ladies, fellow business owners and fabulous mamas.
What started as a business stocking only 30 animals, now has over 200 items which takes over our entire garage. Two and a half year in, with a toddler, a business and working part time as a psychologist, I had another baby and started another business. Wowsers!
As much as l adore everything about .ivy, after months of ‘should I or shouldn’t I’ chats with my husband, I have decided to close the shop at the end of the month. At the moment, I feel like I can not give .ivy the love and attention it deserves, particularly with the way IG now prioritises certain content.
It is bittersweet. But I can not thank you enough for your support, friendship, encouragement and purchases over the years. A special shoutout to some special ladies who have been my biggest cheerleaders from the very beginning. Thank YOU Sarah , Toni , Tamara , Mikayla , Kylie , Emma .and.co and Jacqui . Without your support and friendship, this business would not be what it is today. And I would not be where I am today. I’m forever grateful.
