Was able to record this soundcheck / demo for clients to get a reference on how superb the Tama Rockstar Custom drums are. The Made in Taiwan drums by Tama have always impressed me. Build quality is always at a very high standard and a lot of the more expensive Japanese built drums do share a lot of the hardware appointments, and same meticulous finishing / lacquering. These drums are intermediate in value, but pro in sound and presentation for sure. Replacing all the batter heads to USA made Remo, careful tuning (no muffling / open tuning)...presto!. Great drums.

Thank you to Josh Rech @ Chaos / DFP, proud as punch to let the whole world know that THE DRUM HQ will now stock Chaos Drums, DFP Parts and Accessories and down the line some Relic, Summit shells, Roodiment and Rech products.

To start with, just ordered some immediate parts I need for the shop as well as a new snare drum for me! I will never stock a product I don’t own/support myself. That the HQ way.

For now, thank again Josh and can’t wait for the things we’ve got to roll on. And for everyone else - hit me up with any DFP parts and accessories you may need. Drum away!

It was a pleasure having Red Cymbals Artist - Justin Fimmel as a guest at Dirty Laundry Studios. Not only we were able to track a drum play- through for his band ‘Motions’(check it out Fimdrums - Justin Fimmel) but also record this off the cuff performance to showcase some of the Red Cymbals; available @ THE DRUM HQ.
