Lucent is a beautiful mid-sized building (17 storeys tall) in the heart of the city, located in Newstead’s Gasworks Precinct. It is tastefully built with plenty of concrete, grey travertine marble, and many fine custom features. One of my favourite features is the rooftop pool and gym common area, complete with a BBQ area and, of course, an infinity pool. From there, you can enjoy the gorgeous Brisbane CBD skyline or simply relax on the in-pool recliners.
I’ve worked in this building numerous times over the years, including yesterday and again today, carrying out both plastering and painting as part of ongoing maintenance. It’s work that I genuinely enjoy and always have a great time doing.
The local coffee shops and bakeries 🧁 are arguably some of the best in Brisbane, and I highly recommend checking them out. Yummy!
