A message from CTC Games to our amazing TCG communities.
As recently as last night, several local TCG stores have been broken into, with many singles and products stolen. We’d like to remind everyone in the community to take extra care when buying cards and slabs through private sales, whether that be in person or via other means like Facebook Marketplace.
The stores currently affected include Mint Collectables, Dorky Desires, Misty's Collectables and PACS Collectables.
If you come across someone suddenly offering a large quantity of cards, slabs or sealed product, please ensure you do your due diligence before purchasing. We strongly recommend that you:
• Avoid purchasing any items you believe may have been stolen or obtained unlawfully.
• If you recognise items or stock that may belong to an affected store, contact that store directly and provide any relevant information.
• Report any suspected stolen property or suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities.
• Do not confront, challenge, or publicly accuse any individual yourself. For your safety, allow the relevant authorities to investigate and handle the situation.
Our TCG communities are not small, and we know that the heart of any store is their community. So make sure to look out for each other, and support your local game stores, and please send all the best to those stores who have been affected by these thieves.
