Booie & Ben is a gorgeous online shop for contemporary Australian art. Also featuring spectacular Australian Interiors. My passion has always been creating. x

Here I'll share insight into my art process, share sneak peeks of upcoming work and keep you in the loop when I have sales and events. I am an artist, Interior Architect, dreamer and mother of two young kids (Jack & Billie). I live in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia with my husband (Ben) and adore this beautiful country of ours. I have a Bachelors degree in Interior Architecture and have worked in

the commercial industry since graduating in 2011. As early as I can remember, I have always designed and created anything and everything I can possibly dream of (my mind doesn't stop creating....EVER!). I also love being an entrepreneur and running my business from my home studio. This gives me the opportunity to satisfy my midday yoga cravings as well as spending quality time with my two babies! My style incorporates both my hand drawings and digital art skills which I have learnt through many years of working as an Interior Architect. I love the blend of using both hand drawings and digital art to produce something truly unique. Being a mum, I love creating works of art for little people spaces. My work is happy, fun, soft and contemporary and it is my take on our beautiful Australian flora and fauna. I feel grateful to have my beautiful artwork hanging in your home.

I am so excited to be sharing my latest body of work with my beautiful community! Creating “Poppy Meadow” has been a deeply personal and joyful process and I am incredibly grateful to be able to release these into the world. I hope you love this series as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it.

Blossom ~ the newest addition to the Native Bloom series.
I wanted to add a long vertical artwork to this much loved collection after a few requests from my art lovers! Here she is!! With this piece I’ve used a slightly darker colour palette with beautiful shades of delicious greens ~ this colourway is aptly titled “Moody Matcha”.

Hi 👋🏻

Somehow there are a whole lot more of you following Booie & Ben, and I am sure that many of you have no idea who I am, OR you may know me and my ART really well and have been following my journey for the last 1.5 years ☺️

This is me… Laura, or BOOIE as most of my family and friends call me. I am the artist here at B&B and Mum of two beautiful kiddies Jack (5) and Billie (3) and I’ve been married to my husband BEN for 10 years next month! We live in Brisbane, Queensland.

This is me in my studio where we live. I started my B&B page whilst I was on maternity leave with my second baby in the hope that it would give me a little outlet to keep being creative whilst away from my profession as a commercial Interior Architect. Never did I dream that this would turn into a full time business/career and that I would have completely fallen in love with everything that I have created here with B&B✨

My business has grown beyond my expectations and wildest dreams! I am so pleased that I listened to my gut instinct and followed my passion! I am now filling my weeks with pattern designs for some wonderful brands, graphic design work, product design development and commissioned artworks (currently closed for 2021) along side my collection of ever growing artworks for my store.

My web store launched with just 9 Australian flora & fauna artworks and has grown into what is it today with my artwork being produced onto fine art canvases and the addition of custom made Australian oak framing 🙌🏻

So, thank you for following my journey and for those of you that have purchased and loved my artwork! It really means everything to me 🙏🏻

It’s been a lovely week of beautiful Oak Framing coming and going from my studio here in Queensland 🙌🏻
These ones are heading out the door and off to their lovely new owners around Australia over the next few days 🤍
