I'm just loving the way the Pride of Scotland tartan modern colours used for Jennifer's shoe bows are picking out all the pretty shades of blue and purple in her bouquet.

The whole range of Pride of Scotland tartan is not associated with any particular clan and can be worn by anyone.

The 'ancient' colourways of tartans aren't lovely, muted shades because they are old and faded - its because of the natural dyes that were used when they were originally produced in days gone by. These shoe bows are made from woollen tartan in MacLeod of Harris Ancient colours.
