Making friends (and meeting boat cats 🐱) thanks to The Artist Nest bag.

The other day, I was sitting by the river in Brunswick Heads taking some videos of the Paper Bark bag, packed full of my favorite Tasmanian wool. 🪵✨

Out of nowhere, this lovely girl approached me to chat about knitting. She actually lives right there on one of the houseboats—and yes, that gorgeous cat looking at the camera is her sailing companion!

I ended up opening the bag, showing her my yarn, and sharing our love for making. It’s crazy how a simple tool bag can spark beautiful conversations and connect creative souls anywhere.
