· Alpacafest will be held July 4th at Noorat Recreation Reserve

- Where the heck is Noorat?!
Sounds like an obscure place but isn't. Noorat is nestled as the base of the retired volcano, Mt. Noorat (technically a hill) just off the Princes Hwy, between Camperdown and Terang.

· Arrival - Alpacas may be delivered to the Nibble & Nosh Shed at Noorat Recreation Reserve (where Alpacafest will be held) on Friday 3rd July, 2pm - 6pm (contact Convenor to negotiate other times)
· Camping - If you wish to camp in the Showgrounds please contact the Convenor asap. Powered sites must be purchased in your entry on eAlpaca. Public toilets and showers are available. Please be aware the toilets are an old brick building and the showers are across the football oval
· Dinner on the Saturday evening - Details TBC
· Penning – We are using the sheep panels at the grounds
· Security - Convenor Warren Attrill will remain on site as security. The Nibble & Nosh Shed is fully enclosed

Last year saw the return of AlpacaFest and we thank Sue and John Harris for their efforts and thorough handover. AlpacaFest saw friendly camaraderie particularly between South Australian and Victorian members and we hope to continue this in 2026 building AlpacaFest’s friendly reputation.
