Been busy cutting out oblong shapes from upholstery fabric and jean scraps to make patchwork shopping bags.

Next step is to overlock, then sew then sort out what combination I like. I am virtually constructing the fabric I need to make the bags.

Takes hours and my hands get sore but I love the outcome.

Still have to make the handles.......I do have lots of jean waistbands so may use those.......

Beautiful Denim Jacket upcycled with white lace from a dress.

The pockets were unpicked so I could insert the lace then restitched to match the stitching. I love the reveal of the lace as I cut the denim away.
