Thinking of getting lash extensions done for your big day? 💭
Here are some things to consider:

1. Consider your options ✔️
Not every bride needs lash extensions, and that’s okay! Depending on your comfort level and makeup look, you might opt for strip lashes, clusters, etc. You also need to ask yourself questions such as: What type of location is my wedding being hosted at? Is my makeup artist okay to work with lash extensions? etc.

2. Trial First 💍
Not every bride needs lash extensions — and that’s okay! Depending on your comfort level and makeup look, you might opt for strip lashes, clusters, or a soft enhancement set. Always chat with your makeup artist beforehand to make sure your lashes complement the overall look they’re planning.

3. Timing Is Everything 🕐
Your final lash appointment should be 2–3 days before the wedding. That gives you time for any small adjustments while keeping your set fresh and full for your bug day (especially if you are getting a lash set that is on the ‘lighter’ side)

4.Think About Photos 📸
Lashes frame your eyes and make them pop in pictures, but balance is key! Too heavy, and they can cast shadows; too light, and they might disappear under makeup. So keep playing around with lash styles till you find the perfect set for your big day

And most importantly, don’t be shy to let your artist know what your thoughts are and which areas you want to tweak! 🫶🏼

SWIPE for a little custom set analysis🕵️

For our stunning client, we have decided to create a custom set that elongates her eyes to achieve a sultry catty look that fits well with her natural facial structure. Some key details that were used to create this look include:

• The use of thinner diameters to create wide volume fans in the first half of her eye to create that super fluffy effect
• A wispy layer was added & blended into the last half of the lash line to give the whole look a little lift
• We angled the placement of each extension in the outer half of her lashes to further emphasis the cat eye and ensured that the angling direction was in line with the ends of her brows to create an overall cohesive appearance

Keep swiping for a little ✨𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬✨

Here is a little insight to the thoughts that ran through my head while creating this set based on the points listed (in last image):
• 𝟬.𝟬𝟮/𝟬.𝟬𝟯 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 were used throughout this whole set to create a 'denser/darker' look without adding excess weight on her natural lashes.
• As our clients natural eye shape is slightly upturned, we 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 of the lashes to avoid an overly dramatic cat eye.
• Due to the use of long lengths, we avoided lashing the inner corners all the way to prevent irritation, but instead 𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 to create a seamless blend.
• Our client had requested for a wispy look, but was concerned about the way wispy lashes fall out unevenly. To minimise this concern, we opted to create a textured wispy look that consisted of only 𝟮𝗺𝗺 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 between the lash layers and used 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘀 as spikes.
