Went to town and came home to a paddock full of freshly made hay bales.

The weeds that can be a major fire hazard in the summer months have now been cut, raked and baled into mulch hay for our lime orchard. Instead of going to waste, they’ll help suppress weeds, retain moisture and help the microbes in the soil build up organic matter as the hay breaks down.

One less fire risk and one more way to work with nature. Winning!!

It still surprises me how many harmful things are still allowed in skincare products in Australia. For what reason? Usually to make the product last longer or to make it cheaper. Great post Tablelands Tallow
