Fun fact! At the Farmhouse, we use Australian vintage Pinnock sewing machines to make all our sewn items. These machines are workhorses and are as beautiful as the day they were made. The Pinnock company was originally established in 1891 in Sydney. In 1957, the company relocated to a new purpose-built factory in the new city of Elizabeth, north of Adelaide, Although Pinnock closed its doors in 1967, These machines are still going strong and are perfect for creating our Farmhouse designs.

We had a wonderful time visiting one of our stockists, The Elderflower Farm in the Scenic Rim. We stocked them up with our handmade soap and bucket hats, and enjoyed the beautiful fresh cut heirloom blooms and rustic garden goods sold on-site.
