Did you know that copper purifies your water?

Modern research has shown that copper surfaces can naturally reduce certain bacteria and microbes. This effect is known as oligodynamic action, this describes how trace amounts of metals like copper can disrupt the cell membranes of some microorganisms.

When water is stored in a copper vessel, tiny ions dissolve into the water over time.

Studies exploring this process have found that copper can:
- Reduce microbial activity on contact
- Support cleaner water by limiting the growth of certain bacteria
- Create an environment less favourable for microbial survival

This is why copper has been used in traditional water storage for generations, and why it continues to be explored in scientific settings today.
