Good morning,
The rain has stopped here at the Parafield airport.
So there are no excuses for not coming to the market.
I baked the bee sting and the onion cake again.

Just head to Parafield and get some treats for you and your family and friends 😃

Tomorrow morning I won't just have my usual bread, pretzels and cakes. I baked a German onion tart. It's not just onions but also some streaky bacon ----- and I can say it's just delicious.
This tart is served in Germany, Switzerland and East of France in autumn and it gets served with the first wine of the season the "federweißer".

Here we could have it as a snack with wine or beer or with a salad on the side as a full dinner.
I hope you come to have a try and enjoy.

Today's menu:
Baked cheese cake
Lemon cake
Pumpkin cake
Hazelnut scrolls
Chocolate beetroot cake
Bee sting
Apple crumble
And gluten free carrot cake
It all looks very delicious

The apples are ripe 😋
So I baked a caramelized upside down apple cake for tomorrow, beside the bee sting and some other goodies

Step one of the bee sting is finished and it looks amazing.
Tomorrow morning while baking the pretzels and simit I prepare the filling and cut to pieces

The upcoming weekend is meant to be quite cool (temperature wise)
I decided it's time for the first bee sting this year.
