Thanks to our fabulous volunteers for opening the museum these school holidays. Grace manned it all weekend and now Teyah is taking over Monday and Tuesday. 12-4pm. Might be just the activity on a rainy day.

Wow, wow, wow. What an event and what a community. The second Legends Lunch was held yesterday at The Frying Pan Inn and it was a treat. Mc'd superbly by Kerry Lee Dodd, organised beautifully by Bronwyn, Nyree and the whole team at Fryers, the event was a mix of old and new memories. The talk by Di Shirling about the lovely George was both informative and emotional and the panel discussion with Macca, Jodi, Lisa and Dougie gave guests a few little insights into growing up in the mountains, ski school and competitive skiing at Falls Creek.

Huge thank you to everyone that supplied a prize for the raffle and auction and to everyone that bought a raffle ticket or who took home a prize in the silent auction. Your generosity will help us achieve our next project in Falls Creek, we can't wait to share that with you soon.

Thank you again to our sponsors and supporters. Thank you to the Falls Creek Museum team that helped out on the day with selling tickets, organising the outfits for the staff and us and to those that helped prior to the event getting us set up and ready to go.

The Falls Creek Legends Lunch is back for 2026 🙌

After a sold out inaugural event last year, we’re once again bringing together the characters, pioneers and mountain community who helped shape Falls Creek into the village we know and love today.

Join us at Frying Pan Inn for an afternoon of great food, legendary stories, raffles, laughs and plenty of retro ski fashion.

On behalf of the Falls Creek Museum team we hope you have the chance to spend some time with family and friends this Easter.

There is a lot going on in Falls Creek this weekend and so we thought we would add something else to do so we are going to open the museuml. The museum will be open between 11am and 4pm. If the flags are out then Ken is in the house.
