There is something rather satisfying about seeing all those little tins lined up together. 💛

Twenty-one teas, each with its own blend of leaves, flowers, fruits and spices. Some familiar, some a little unexpected, and each with its own story to tell.

One of the pleasures of tea is discovering just how many different flavours there are to fall in love with.

When I was designing our teaware, there were two things I knew I wanted — a lovely, cosy shape that felt wonderful to hold, and a generous capacity for those cups of tea that you really don’t want to end too soon. ☕✨

Fine bone china, real gold detailing, and colours chosen to make each piece feel a little special.

I have a particular weakness for the green and gold, especially with those little stars. But the truth is, each colour holds a special place in my heart for different reasons. When you’ve had a hand in bringing something from an idea to a finished piece, it’s rather difficult to play favourites.

I’m very curious, though — if you were choosing a cup for your own tea table, which colour would find its way home with you? 💚

A few rules concerning tea.

The good china is not to be saved for guests.

A second cup requires no justification.

Biscuits served with tea cease to count as biscuits and become part of the ceremony.

One may say “I’ll only stay for one” — but nobody is obliged to believe it.

And there is very little that cannot be discussed more agreeably once the kettle has boiled.

Lady Harriet is quite firm on these matters. ☕️✨

Harriet has never been terribly interested in waiting for the appropriate day. ☕️

Soft vanilla, black tea, and the sort of cup that makes an ordinary afternoon feel just a little more indulgent.

Besides, if Sunday Tea were truly reserved for Sundays, we should have put that on the tin. ✨

Apparently, it’s a French Earl Grey sort of Saturday at Fremantle. 💜

This one has been disappearing from the shelves today — so much so that the last of our big French Earl Grey pouches has just gone home with someone!

Floral, fragrant and beautifully perfumed, it seems French Earl Grey has certainly found its people this afternoon.

If you’re one of them, you’re in very good company. ☕️✨

We’re here at Stall 53 until 6pm today, with French Earl Grey still available in our tins — and we’ll be back again with pouches tomorrow. 💜💜
