Hey everyone,

Really sorry for the lack of posts. My health has been really unstable and up and down. Still keeping up with sending items when sold. Will do my best to keep up with posts. I really do apologise.

Today's book highlight is not only in memory of a friend who passed away nearly 9 years ago to this day, but she was a brilliant, talented book writer and artist and friend. Who left the world to soon and could have given the world so much more.

RIP Donna Williams (Polly Samuel) (October 1963 - 22 April 2017).

She was the first person to really show the world what it was like to be inside the autistic mind, from an autistic person POV. Donna helped so many autistic people realise that they can be who they want to be, not want the world want them to be. Including me, at a important part of my life.

*An interesting note I'm listening a CD of her's (Nobody Nowhere) she gave to me on my 21st birthday.

This Monday's Book highlight is the very popular children's picture book The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler.

Together these two have compiled many many books for all ranges of children based around The Gruffalo, aslo Julia and Axel, along with other illustrators and writers have other works which you will find on their individual pages, as well as The Gruffalo website. Funny Thursday is Here Again and It's a Christmas Special!!!

It's the 25th of December and all through the house not a creature was disturbing not even a mouse... Except all these weird and whacky titles these authors have given for their books.

Some of these books are just as whacky to go with them or just just have weird titles hmm... Not all are about Christmas either, but as they say, don't judge a book by it's cover. Also don't always judge a book by it's title either.

Anyways Merry Christmas, Season's Greetings or just happy Holidays depending if you;re celebrating Christmas or not. I'm a practising Christian, however, living in a very multicultural country I understand that not every doesn't.

However, we do need to learn to live together, because deep down we are all just same type of being as each other, human. The Bondi Beach terrorist attack just shocked and made me frustrated me with the government. However I will not rant about the government here.

Anyway stay safe these Holidays, next Funny is on New Years Day! I'll have to think of something to bring in the New Year!
