#8 - Beef producers: If you aren't using a nitroxynil product, you're missing a key piece of the puzzle. Looking for convenience? Nitromec gives you combined liver fluke and Barber’s Pole worm control in one product.
Want premium stand-alone liver fluke control for adult cattle? Nitrofluke is a great option, or pair it with a combo drench like Cydectin Platinum for broader parasite protection.
One thing to keep in mind - Nitromec and Nitrofluke have longer ESIs (120–140 days), so they’re best suited to stock that won’t be sold in the near future.

#7- Treatment is only half the battle. To keep your "clean" paddocks clean, you need to wait at least 21-28 after drenching for liver fluke before moving your stock.

#6 - Protect your property from resistant liver fluke. If you're bringing stock home from NSW, VIC, or SE QLD, a strict induction protocol is a must. We recommend the Nitrofluke and Cydectin Platinum combo for the highest efficacy in beef cattle. Ask us for the full quarantine checklist.

#4 - Don't wait for adult flukes to show up in a test as the damage is already done. Using products such as Nitrofluke, Nitromec or Flukazole that target liver fluke right down to the most damaging 2-week-old stage can mean an extra 13 kg compared to just treating adults.
