A little sneak peek behind the scenes…

Work on the next part of Vivi and Oki adventures is underway, and Anna Kalicińska • Illustrator & dog lover • is bringing the next chapter to life through her beautiful sketches. ✏️

The next adventure will be full of new experiences, big feelings, friendships, learning to be part of a group, sharing moments with others, singing together, and plenty of little challenges that come with growing up.

BIG BIG NEWS 🎉

Vivi & Oki: What's that Sound? has been shortlisted for the 2026 Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year Awards in the 0–3 years category.

What started as a simple idea to help little ones discover everyday sounds through play and shared reading has now been recognised by Speech Pathology Australia Australia's peak body for speech pathologists, dedicated to supporting communication, language, and literacy development.

Huge thank you to every family, educator, speech pathologist, bookstore, library, and little reader who has welcomed Vivi & Oki into their world so far.
And a special thank you to the illustrator Anna Kalicińska | Ilustracje do książek i projektów kreatywnych who brought the idea to life on paper.

Reading to little ones is only part of the journey 🤍

Getting babies and toddlers comfortable with books also means letting them explore them:

From illustrator

The concept for this book was created with the youngest readers and their parents in mind - encouraging them to discover language together through touch, pointing, and imitating sounds.

Each of the 12 illustrations features large, pastel-toned illustrations with soft, rounded shapes designed to invite interaction, spark conversation, and support early visual development.

The project combines simplicity of form with meaningful educational value and has already received positive feedback from both parents and professionals. There is strong potential for the series to expand further.
