Hi community, bit of a long post ahead but I ask that you read it through.

Just a heads up that I (Ghost) will be away for medical leave for surgery next week, from the 23/09 - 18/10 (fingers crossed, but it could end up being a week longer).

In the time that I am away we will only be opening Tuesday - Thursday and our hours will stay like this until I am back.

We will be open Monday - Thursday (21/09 - 24/09) but closed that Friday, the 25th for the public holiday.

The following week our Tuesday - Thursday hours will commence.

During this time, we understand it is a busy period for everyone with school holidays approaching and then being on, but we please as that during this time that our Volunteers are treated with kindness and respect as they will be doing all they can do to the best of their abilities without a manager present. 🙏🏻

We please ask that all the time, our customers and clients keep our shop front and exterior clean and free from any obstructions, this includes:

🚫 No dumping donations outside the shop front.

🚫 No leaving furniture, regular donations or anything else around or on top of our donation bin.

🚫 No leaving donations outside the back gate or throwing them over the fence.

🚫 Not placing breakable items in the donation bin.

What we ask you to do is:

✅ If the donation bin is full, please try and hold off, wait to get to us during shop hours, we will still be doing back door pickups every day we are open.

✅ Securely bag up the items going in the donation bin. (the bags usually break open when hitting the bottom).

✅And if you have furniture of ANY kind, feel free to contact our Church Corps on 03 5572 1907, Wednesday - Friday after 11am and someone will be able to assist you.

This helps us keep running smoothly and not making our Volunteers overexert themselves where they do not need too, we do not need to clean up messes that can be easily avoidable when the signs outside our shop are read correctly and not ignored.

There is plenty of signage on the bin, around the shop front on each of our windows, and back gate stating not to dump donations, not to place breakable items in the bin and info on our Church Corps regarding furniture.

At this point in time, we can no longer take any electrical items until we clear out what we have. It may take a while to get through and have them all test and tagged, but as soon as we can, this page will get updated & an updated list of what we can & can't accept will be posted along with it.

On the bright side of the morning, we have our $1 rack down (white hangers) to 50c (or 5 pieces of clothing for $1) this week only!

We please ask that donations stop getting left at the front of the store. This is the second Monday in a row that this has happened.

Our donation bin is around the back of the shop.
