Always lots of fun to be had at Swan Valley Station 🐐 🐓 🫏

Farmyard Fun at Swan Valley Station is returning as part of Entwined in the Swan Valley.

This free event is happening on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18.

There will be free face painting, farmyard tours, $2 slushies and the chance to sample Swan Valley Fudge.

Such sad news, RIP Marie ♥️

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Marie Mapp last week.

Morish Nuts was founded by “principal nut” Archie Moroni and partner Marie in 1994.

The couple launched the business from a rented townhouse in Cottesloe to help fund Archie’s university studies.

In the early days, Marie used to pack caramel-coated nuts in cellophane bags and tie them with curled ribbon, ready to sell at market days.

For many years, Marie was a familiar face alongside Archie selling Morish Nuts at country fairs, field days and royal shows.

They grew Morish Nuts to a multi-location business, including the retail and factory headquarters in the Swan Valley, before selling and retiring in late 2024.

From everyone at Morish Nuts, we send our heartfelt condolences to Archie and their son, Daniel.

🍇A Little Book Of Vineyard Tales🍇- Book Launch and Morning Tea, Saturday 19th September 10am - 12 noon, The Old Courthouse Midland.

This is Pamela Buselich, Pam has made a book of stories and reflections of life on a vineyard in the Swan Valley, WA.

These tales will create an occasional smile, or a moment to pause and consider the journey that Table Grapes take from paddock to plate or vineyard to table.
