Your best coffee, on repeat.

With a Café Grato subscription, you can choose your preferred coffee, select the bag size that suits your home ritual, and receive it fortnightly or monthly.

Mix and match available farms and grades, save up to 15% on every order, and modify, skip or cancel whenever you need to.

Because coffee follows the harvest, the available farm or grade may change with the season. When that happens, we will contact you before your next delivery so you can choose from the available options.

Fresh Colombian coffee, delivered on your schedule while supporting the farmers behind every bag.

Grown in Colombia. Shipped from Australia.

We source Café Grato from our family farm and partner producers in Quindío, then bring the coffee to Australia before it becomes available to order.

That means when you place an order, your coffee is packed and dispatched locally from Australia.

From our farms to Australia, then straight to your door.

Today, our thoughts are with the families, farmers and communities across Colombia affected by the recent earthquake.

Meet Finca El Diamante, grown by Gratiniano in Córdoba, Quindío.

At 1,430 to 1,500 metres, Castillo coffee is processed using the honey method, helping bring forward a smooth and balanced cup.

Expect red fruits, caramel and panela, followed by nutty and dark chocolate notes, medium citrus acidity and a creamy body.

Still very much the classic smooth and chocolate/caramel sweet Colombian coffee, El Diamante additionally brings a little more cherry fruitiness to the palate.

Explore Finca El Diamante through the link in bio and find the coffee that suits your ritual.

Ever wondered what a cup profile actually tells you?

It is a simple way to understand what to expect from a coffee before you brew it.

Aroma is what you notice first. Flavour is what you taste while drinking. Aftertaste is what stays with you. Acidity brings brightness, while body describes how the coffee feels in your mouth.

Knowing how to read these details makes it easier to choose a coffee that suits your taste.

Apples ain’t Apples and Arabicas aren’t Arabicas.

Arabica is not one single coffee variety. It is a wider family of varietals, each with its own qualities and flavour potential.

At Café Grato, we currently grow Variedad Colombia, Castillo and Bourbon Rosado. In combination with our terroir, these typically bring bright citrus and red fruits, floral aromas, caramel sweetness and a smooth body. But, two tend to lean towards the smoothness and caramel or chocolate sweetness colombian coffee is renouned for, whilst the other leans floral, silky and fruit forward.

Variety is only part of the story. Altitude, process, soil and the hands behind the harvest all help shape what finally reaches your cup.

Discover the difference in every origin.
