Old vs New.

New coaster stands being made to replace some of the broken stands.
Unfortunately without being able to assemble each time I want to use them they get broken regularly when getting them in and out of the Patrol.

Looking to try and clear coat them so they stay lighter colour, or might just varnish them.

Mack PopCon was an absolutely magnificent day yesterday.

After a 1550km round trip, 18 hours driving, almost the same amount of time singing to myself with all my favourite tunes...
Mack PopCon was worth every bit of the trip.
I left Hervey Bay on Friday morning at 530am and returned home at 3am Sunday morning.

I met so many amazing people. Kristy and her team did an amazing job with the event and welcomed me to my first event with them. Since I was by myself for the day, amongst the numerous vendors that came to see if I was ok or needed anything, the Mack PopCon team kept an eye on me and offered help all day.

The attendees and other vendors made it a successful day for all.

Hope to see everyone again in 2027.

I also put up pics of most of my haul from the day. Some was for my boys, like the cats, pochita and the pins related to Pochita and Totoro. The Pokemon Japan center plushness are mine and so are those awesome prints which should be in frames soon.

Tomorrow at you will find Etching By Dave at site 36.

After getting in at 230pm today I did as much as I could ready for an amazing day tomorrow.

A few touch ups in the morning and I will be ready to greet everyone to my stall. Cant wait to see what people buy for themselves or someone special.

Almost packed for Mack PopCon

Be interesting to see how Mackay PopCon stacks up to the local FraserPop Festival

An early start in the morning for an 8 hour drive. Made that little more expensive thanks to the spike in fuel prices again.

Duck, duck... duck? 🤔

How many vendors and patrons found these little ducks around FraserPop Pop Culture Festival on the weekend?

Etching By Dave may have started the weekend with 300 of these little ducks. 🫣

These were placed around various stalls as well as given to many patrons. This is all I have left.

Hopefully they brought a smile to some peoples faces. 😊
