Hey Hunny products are printed to order on sustainably sourced 100% post-consumer recycled paper, and shipped using eco-friendly materials. To further minimise waste we have chosen to get naked and go plastic-free. Each card and tag is proudly imagined and created in Tasmania by Carla; an early childhood teacher, sweet treat eater, and lover of all things cute & colourful. Today brings about a massive shift in the Hobart small business community, with the closing of Lily & Dot. Katinka, thank you so much for your support of our cards! Proud ex-Maccas Crew Member here, and I’m not sure if you remember the orange & poppyseed muffins that were part of the lighter choices menu in the mid-2000s, but I LOVED them. I figured lemon & poppyseed muffins would be just as good, and what better time to make some than when our tree is overflowing with them (lemons that is, not muffins - but imagine a muffin tree!) 🍋✨

We would often get asked if we’ve got Mother’s Day cards, and while a lot of our designs are open for interpretation and suitable for all sorts of occasions, it made me realise some people love a specific greeting too. That’s why a couple of years ago we created our Mother’s Day Series! And with only three weeks to go, now’s the time to find that perfect card. It’s a small gesture to say a big thank you to the motherly figures in your life 🪴✨

Exciting times here in Hobart, we finally have a self serve frozen yoghurt bar! And what makes it even better?! The addition of coffee and hot chippies too! But on top of the delicious food, one of my favourite parts is the fit out. It’s incredible! The Frosty Dog can be found in Kingston Beach, alongside its sister The Salty Dog Hotel, and together they’ve given us our own little slice of Palm Springs. I’ve been down there a couple of times since opening day, and I’m sure it won’t be long until I’m back again 🌴✨

It might be the teacher in me, but how fun is it to make someone feel really special by presenting them with an award?! Our Best Boyfriend Award Card is always popular this time of year, with the Best Friend one not too far behind. Valentine’s Day is just over a week away, so it’s the perfect time to celebrate all types of love 🩷✨

Today is the last official day of summer school holidays, and oh boy, the weather really isn’t helping with the transition - it’s been hailing! But we’ve been lucky to have had plenty of sunshine, and for me, lots of ice cream too. A couple of weeks ago we went to Coles Bay for the first time (I know I’m a hopeless Tasmanian, but it’s kind of fun being able to still experience new places close to home), which of course meant a visit to The Ice Creamery Coles Bay. And you can probably imagine my excitement when I saw Biscoff on the menu! With an incredible view, and delicious coffee too, we’ll definitely be back🍦✨

I don’t think it will ever not be exciting to see our cards displayed in store by our wonderful stockists! To see them sitting there, waiting to be picked it up and chosen to help celebrate an occasion, is really so special.
