So I was in Dymocks the other day - a NEW bookshop! and I picked up this book and started reading it cause I love Fern Brady, she’s really funny. I was immediately laughing out loud within 1 page of it so obvi I had to buy it ☺️ anyway this is what I’m reading right now. I read, like, 5 books at the same time, because what I read in any given moment depends entirely on how I’m feeling, and this is one of them. Will post about the others soon.

Borrowed/stole this off my friends Luke & Amy when I was at their house because; when I was in highschool/uni, like a fool I wasn’t interested in modern OR ancient history!!! Like, at all!!!! Anyway, that was a mistake. History is FASCINATING!!!! Now that I have discovered the error of my ways, I have been rectifying the situation by reading millions of historical books and biographies of random dead people. Still need to get into historical fiction at some point, I’ve heard that’s great. Anyway, this book is a 10/10 quick, 100-page recap of all of history. Written by some peeps that know what they’re talking about. I highly recommended it.

Keep forgetting to post about books I’m reading / have read (too busy actually reading hehehehe) I have a million different social media accounts now. Separated by all the million different things I do/like. Yes I know that’s weird, I am weird, you all know that about me already!
So u have to follow the specific one u want, depending on what aspect u are also interested in ☺️😘 I tagged some of them in this pic, the rest are on insta

I read this book after I read ‘when neitzsche wept’ by the same guy because the first book I read by Yalom, love’s executioner, was a 10/10 amazing book, and the neitzsche one was also excellent, so then I decided I needed to read every Yalom book ever and I am currently in that process 😂
This one wasn’t as good as the other two, tho. 6/10? Not sure why. Maybe I just don’t like Spinoza.
Anyway, this won’t deter me from reading all the others!! When I find them!!

I read this one a little while ago, gosh I loved it. Atul Gawande, being mortal. Made me really sad about the state of the health care industry (that always makes me sad tho, it sucks) and the way we treat people in their last stages of life. Death is all we have. As soon as we are born, that’s where we are heading. And we usually don’t know when, where or how it’s gonna happen. But, u know, that’s what makes life so god damn beautiful. U gotta live it. Do all the things. Live every moment. Love every moment. Even the hard ones. LOOK where we are!! We get to exist!! What a ride. 🥰❤️ xx

Reading time!!! I’ve read a lot of Stephen King and I love him. I’ve also read that amazing one he wrote ‘On Writing’. A real good one if you’re an aspiring writer. This one is conversations with him. Very cool. He’s a cool guy. Highly recommend it, 5/5!! It’ll be at my shop when I finish reading it, probably $5 😊
