✂️ 4-Drawer Flip Storage Box – Easy Instructions
You Will Need
White cardstock for the box base
Eastern Journey Designer Paper
Paper trimmer
Scoring board and scoring tool
Bone folder
Adhesive
Scissors
Strong double-sided tape
Decorative flowers and embellishments
Step 1 – Make the Four Drawers
Cut four pieces of white cardstock for the drawer sections.
Score each piece according to the measurements used in the tutorial.
Fold all score lines firmly with your bone folder.
Add adhesive to the tabs and carefully assemble each drawer.
Check that each drawer opens and closes smoothly.
Step 2 – Create the Storage Box
Cut and score the white cardstock for the outer box.
Fold along all score lines.
Add strong adhesive to the joining tabs.
Assemble the box carefully, making sure the corners are square.
Allow the adhesive to dry before inserting the drawers.
Step 3 – Add the Flip Lid
Cut the cardstock for the lid.
Score and fold to create the hinged flip section.
Attach the lid securely to the top of the box.
Test the lid to make sure it opens and closes easily.
Step 4 – Decorate with Eastern Journey Designer Paper
Cut Designer Paper slightly smaller than each panel.
Layer the Eastern Journey pieces onto the box, drawers and lid.
Mix the patterns to create a coordinated look.
Add flowers, labels or other embellishments to finish your project.
Step 5 – Finishing Touches
Open and close each drawer to make sure everything moves smoothly. Add your favourite embellishments and fill the drawers with your favourite craft supplies or little treasures.
