Animals, but make it art gallery. This week P*e Wees paint their very own animal in bold colours and mount it on a bright round backing — proper trophy-wall style. It looks like something out of a designer kids' room, and your three-year-old made it. They'll be talking about this one for weeks.

P*e Wee's Week Six — Junk Jellyfish

A paper plate, a pile of neon wool and ribbon, and suddenly there's a jellyfish in the house. P*e Wees paint their plate in dreamy ocean colours, give it a sweet rosy-cheeked face, then thread and stick a rainbow of dangly tentacles underneath. It's cutting, threading and sticking practice disguised as the world's happiest sea creature.

P*e Wee's Week Five — Smiley Faces

This one is pure joy on paper. P*e Wees roll marbles in paint and roll, swirl and flick it across the page to create a glorious tangle of colour, then turn the whole thing into a giant beaming smiley face. It's messy, it's unpredictable, and it's the kind of process art that has them squealing the whole way through.
