🏆 Grand Final Premiers! 🏆

What a day yesterday for our hockey grand final! Someone forgot to tell the weather man that hockey is a winter sport, and we took to the field in intense morning heat, coming out on top 1-0 in a hard fought game!

Biggest thanks to an awesome club Kiama Hockey Club and the best team - playing this game is an absolute juggle with the business and all the things, but it means so much. It’s hard to put into words how much this community means. Just a bunch of people from all different walks of life coming together for an hour of ‘us time’ each week and to share our love for this game.

Time for a hard earned rest team, and we’ll see you next season! ❤️🖤🤍

🏑 It’s grand final day! 🏑

Today’s the day! I’m off to play a little game of hockey with my awesome team at Kiama Hockey Club! Getting in the mood with this flashback to last year’s grand final build up which was also incidentally my last Saturday off! 😂

Kristina is in store today from 9am - 2pm and we’re as prepped and ready as we can be for her to tackle the day on her own! Some last minute order reshuffling yesterday means that she will have time for walk in’s so if you need anything pop on in and see her!

And as for me - well I’ll see you on the other side! Wish us luck! 🔴⚫️⚪️

I’m off to play in grand final of my own with my fabulous team mates at Kiama Hockey Club this Saturday so Kristina will be manning the fort alone!

In order to manage this, we need you to get your orders in! Depending how it’s looking in the next day or two, we may need to go to preorders only so she can complete the orders we have. This will potentially mean no walk ins and no last minute orders 😬

So to avoid disappointment, get those orders in ASAP! If we hit capacity we won’t be able to accept any more orders 🙏

Spending some time in the sunshine with my girl yesterday 🌞😎

Somewhere in the space of the last 18 months (or closer to two years if I’m honest) I’ve let myself become totally consumed by the demands of establishing a business and the amount of time, effort and sleepless nights that it takes, that I’ve totally lost sight of the fact that life is meant for living.

I’ve been getting all the signs lately that it’s time to start turning that back around and it’s time for me to stop ignoring them! So there will be some small changes coming to the way we operate. Nothing too drastic and nothing that will really affect you guys too much - more just putting some boundaries and systems in place for myself to ensure I actually get some kind of ‘time off’ from the business, you know, so I actually have some time for living and existing outside of it as well!

Just putting this here to keep myself accountable! But I’ll keep you guys posted with any changes that may affect you and how you order from us 🙏❤️
