Did you know? 🤓

You might see terms like single weighted or double weighted… but what do they actually mean?

It’s simple.

🪶 Single weighted pieces have no added weight inside.
🪨 Double weighted pieces have small metal inserts to make them heavier.

Single weighted is totally fine - especially if you want something light for travel.

But double weighted? That’s where things feel different.

They’re more stable, harder to tip, and just feel better in your hand. It’s something customers notice straight away - and we agree.

You might also hear triple or quadruple weighted… but there’s no real standard. In reality, it comes down to one question: Is it weighted or not?

This applies to both plastic and wooden sets.
Stone and metal sets already have natural weight, so nothing extra is needed.

If you plan to play often - or just want a nicer feel -
go for double weighted if you can.
