This weekend I've been exploring midfire clay on the wheel.
I used Northcote Pottery Mahogany Midfire.
Loved the feel as I made my bowls. Very easy to keep centred and the walls were nicely even. Trimming was fun.
So now to create a lovely Cone 6 glaze. Thinking of Teal.

Abit of sun this afternoon so I got busy sanded and glazed my pottery getting prepared for a reduction firing. Using glazes made from scratch to handle the Cone 10 1300 c.
Just got to hope for a good day this week 🤞

I went to Bairnsdale Visitors Centre which is now to be found at the Council offices.
Pleasantly surprised at how nice the space is for the centre.
There is new stock on the shelves which are located by the window and it looks lovely.
Please go check out for yourselves.

Gorgeous day to go to Orbost. Pleased to say that I have cleaned up and stocked at the Orbost Indoor market. With help from my friend Karen McDonald we reorganised the shelves.
Thanks Jill Crouch and her team looking after us ❤️❤️❤️
