Meteor Stone is a leading quarry and processor of Western Australian Natural Stone products.

We are looking for a Skid Steer Plant Operator to join our team. Your primary duties are listed below: -

⭐️ undertake daily Plant Pre-Start Inspection Checklists prior to using any plant or equipment; and to forward to Senior Site Executive / Quarry Supervisor for review.
⭐️ understand the task to be undertaken and ensure completion times are adhered to
undertake daily maintenance, cleaning and safety checks for any plant or equipment operated on site as instructed or scheduled.
⭐️ operate all plant and equipment as to manufacturers guide lines and in a safe manner.
operate all plant and equipment efficiently and competently; and in a manner that will not intentionally damage or reduce efficiency.
⭐️ report all plant damage to the Senior Site Executive / Quarry Supervisor
⭐️ ensure allocated equipment is always kept clean and tidy.
⭐️ accurately complete all required documentation; e.g., production sheets
attend all daily pre-start and toolbox meetings as required;
⭐️ assist other operators when required;
⭐️ undertake general labouring duties as directed;
⭐️ communicate with Senior Site Executive / Quarry Supervisor; if you have any safety concerns relating to plant, equipment or process before commencing any tasks

The successful applicant ideally must hold a license issued via RTO (Registered Training Organisation) be physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg without assistance.

Passing company pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol is a condition of employment.

Please note the operation is outdoors and subject to changing weather conditions. The requirement of wearing prescribed PPE is mandatory.

The worksite you will be employed at is a registered mine site; The worksite you will be employed at is a registered mine site; all employees must comply to Meteor Stone’s Mine Safety Management Plan.

Hours: Monday to Friday 7.00am - 3.00pm with overtime during busy periods.

A current drivers licence and own transport is essential.
