We are SO honoured to be named Queensland Social Enterprise of the Year! QSEC - Queensland Social Enterprise Council

What started with a simple desire to make lives better has grown into something far bigger than we ever could have imagined. And this award isn’t just for us, it belongs to every volunteer, staff member, supporter, partner and community member who has helped make Lighthouse Care what it is today.

We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built together: a self-funded, not-for-profit social enterprise working every day to make affordable groceries accessible to families across our community.

To be recognised at a state level for the work we’re so passionate about is genuinely overwhelming.

Thank you to everyone who has believed in the vision, backed the mission and helped us keep going.

A huge thank you to the incredible team at Kids4Kids Foundation for being part of our Good Food Festival 2026! ❤️

We absolutely loved seeing the joy on the faces of so many kids as they explored the festival, enjoyed their showbags and made some wonderful memories.

Thank you for giving 400 pencil case packs to families on the day, and to every volunteer who helped make it happen.

This is what the Good Food Festival is all about, removing barriers, bringing our community together and creating tangible hope for Aussie families.

We’re so grateful to have incredible community partners like Kids4Kids walking alongside us. 🫶
