So… AI has started sneaking its way into some of our custom orders.
Not *our* images though!!

Everything you see from us is the real deal - actual products, actual photos, actual colours, actual slightly chaotic people behind the printers...
But we’ve had a few custom orders come through lately where the customer has started with an AI generated image and basically said “I want THIS.”
And that’s where the fun begins....

Sometimes it takes a bit of back and forth to figure out what they’re actually imagining, what the AI has decided to make up and what we can realistically turn into a 3D printed object.
Sometimes we can absolutely nail it.
Sometimes we have to admit defeat and say “Yeah… physics has entered the conversation.” 😂

We’ve also noticed more and more people using AI for their pictures - that’s totally cool - It’s just not really us.
We like our stuff to have a bit of personality. A bit of humour. A few quirks. The occasional questionable decision and basically a little bit of Print Enable sprinkled over everything we do.
And we like showing you the actual things we make too.

Which does mean our ideas occasionally wander out into the wild and seem to inspire other people.
We’ll take that as a compliment and If something we’ve made gives someone else an idea, that’s pretty bloody cool.
Although if you’re going to take inspiration, at least let us pretend we’re trendsetters for five minutes... 😂

We’ll keep doing what we do - making weird things, useful things, nerdy things and occasionally things that started with someone saying: “I know this sounds ridiculous, but hear me out…” and those are usually our favourite ones.

Now please excuse us while we schedule our posts for the next 3 weeks.. The printers have now been turned off, the filament has been dried and stored and were ready for a couple of ideas to come to life with our forever setting the goal posts..

Mackay Twilight Market - OUR LAST MARKET FOR A WHILE!

We’re back at Mackay Twilight Market and because we have absolutely no ability to just turn up and sell the things we already have… we’re bringing a NEW RELEASE with us!

Come have a wander, say HI, play with the clickers and fidgets, check out the Character Balls, browse the nerdy stuff and generally enable our questionable decision-making.

But this one is a little different because Mackay Twilight is our LAST MARKET FOR A WHILE.

We’re taking a **LONG REST**.
A proper one.
The printers need a break.
The display gear needs a break.
Adam probably needs a break from Tegan saying “I have an idea…”* followed immediately by some ridiculous in-house design that somehow becomes a three month project. 😂

There’s also family time to be had including the youngest child having a birthday and Tegan sharing her birthday with Father’s Day this year because apparently the calendar decided one boss battle wasn’t enough and Teppanyaki is on her menu!

We know some of you will be sitting there going:
“Oh thank goodness. They’re finally taking a break” 😂
Others will be quietly putting money aside because you already KNOW we’ll be back in October with more shiny things you absolutely did not need but will somehow convince yourself you cannot live without.

And yes, we’re already working on it.
We’ve got a couple of new in-house designs and releases brewing for our return because naturally, while we’re supposed to be resting, our brains will still be going “BUT WHAT IF WE PRINTED…?” and we may just be meeting up with a possible new supplier during this trip... say what!!!

So before we disappear for a little while, come see us at Mackay Twilight Market, grab your goodies, check out the new release and help us spend one last evening pretending we’re organised business owners.

Who's ready for a little sea breeze, a whole lot of awesome stalls and the overwhelming urge to book a cruise you definitely didn't budget for? Because... same.

This Friday (14th August) you'll find us at the Airlie Beach Cruise Ship Markets, pretending we're about to board a floating buffet instead of setting up a market stall. As an avid cruising family ourselves, we'll happily soak up the ocean air and wave enthusiastically at everyone who comes off the ship.... while secretly wishing it was our turn...

We'll have a big chunk of the usual Print Enable crew with us -Character Balls, clickers, fidgets, assistive tech, dice goodies and all the bits you've come to expect.
We might even sneak along a couple of our newbie releases... assuming they behave themselves and don't decide they're "still in beta"
Meanwhile, the printers back home will be working overtime because we're already preparing for the Twilight Markets at the end of the month....Apparently "just one more print" has become our household motto... right alongside "who started another 14-hour print at bedtime?"

If you're in Airlie, come say hi, grab your usual mini freebie (because at this point they're basically a market tradition), have a laugh and help us resist the temptation to follow the cruise ship out to sea.

LAST Troppo Markets- Mt Pleasant UNTIL OCTOBER!

Tomorrow is our last Troppo Market until October, so if you’ve been meaning to come and see us… this is your sign!

Adam has officially entered Character Ball assembly hyper mode these last couple of days and has been cranking them out like his life depends on it. Meanwhile the car has been loaded, the stock has been packed and we’re pretending we are completely organised. 😅

We’ve still got TWO more markets booked between now and the end of August but after that… we’re disappearing for a few weeks.

Not forever. Not dramatically but remember how we have mentioned we are an avid cuising family...yep.. It's our turn to sip on cocktails and taking a much deserved break before we inevitably look at the calendar in October and go “Oh look, Christmas is basically tomorrow.”

So if you want to grab your fidgets, character balls, clickers, assistive bits, bookmarks, vaults and all the other nerdy things we’ve managed to cram into the car…

Come find us at Troppo Markets- Mt Pleasant tomorrow!

Because after this one, We miss September and you’ll have to wait until October's Troppo to catch us again.

And honestly… Adam would probably like the chance to stop assembling Character Balls for five minutes. Probably... Maybe... We make no promises. 🤣

This Sunday we're loading up the print wagon and heading back to Troppo Markets... and yes - we'll be bringing the usual free mini fidgets. At this point they're not even a bonus anymore... they're basically part of the Print Enable starter pack....

We'll have almost the entire range with us, including all the shiny new goodies that made their debut at PopCon:
Dice Towers & tabletop gear
Bookmarks for the book dragons
Vaults & Card Holders
Clickers, Fidgets, Character Balls...

This will be our last Troppo Market before we disappear for September.

What a weekend!

Mack PopCon was absolutely off the charts! The energy, the cosplay, the smiles and getting to meet so many of you made it one to remember.

Then we sailed straight over to Seaforth Mega Markets! We were running critically low on character balls but just like the Straw Hats chasing the Grand Line, we somehow found what we needed and kept the adventure going, minus about 10 of our normal range.

We'd also like to take a moment to thank the incredible volunteers we communicate with who make each and every event possible.
We see you, we appreciate you and most of all - thank you for allowing us to be part of something so community-driven. Events like these simply wouldn't happen without your passion and hard work and we're so grateful to be welcomed into your communities.

And just like that, our costumes have officially retired.
It's time to hang up the wig and the lab coat and start dreaming up what's next for 2027...

If you've met Tegan, you'll know she's a bit of a reading enthusiast. Most of the time it's policies, legislation and documents thick enough to double as doorstops. But every now and then... she throws caution to the wind and picks up a fantasy novel with werewolf stories being her favourite!

When it comes to the kids though? Reading isn't optional. If theres a book within arms reach, chances are someone's about to be told to "go read for 20 minutes."

So it seemed only fitting that for our last PopCon release, we celebrate the resident book dragon with something perfect for young readers (and the parents determined to raise them!).. Bookmarks!!

Here's to proving that you can balance legislative documents by day and fantasy worlds by night... and still find time to make sure the next generation falls in love with reading by having great books and funky bookmarks!!
