CASTLE brings you sunny things for the home, including bedlinen and artwork. Considerable interest ensured CASTLE quickly became a commercial venture.

CASTLE was founded in 2008 by Rachel Castle with a small range of bedlinen made for friends and family. The brand represents a love of beautiful, often handcrafted or handprinted, pieces for the home. Rachel Castle has spent the past 20 years working in the homewear industry both in Australia and abroad. Prior to CASTLE, Rachel was joint founder of London-based branding and design agency, The Nest

, and before that, worked for The Conran Shop in the UK. She regularly styles and writes for Australian lifestyle magazines, and currently lives in Sydney. All handmade artworks are sewn by Rachel Castle and her very patient and loving mother, Jillian Patching.

Buckle up for these colder nights friends, geez that weather cooled down quick. Our newest bedspread is rose velvet one side, floral cotton reverse and a generous poly fill in between, snug snug snug. Fully machine and tumble friendly too. I use these at home on all my beds summer and winter, they’re one of my favourite products. 💙RCx

I’ve got so many streaming services it’s silly. I can’t for the life of me though make sense of what’s on where. I need some winter stuff to watch. Pease help! These darker, cooler nights, it’s time to nestle into new drama and needlepointing. Here’s one of our newest kits, a little sausage dog in pink. 💙RCx

I said to the girls when we painted the wall above ‘mix up something nice, something rosy and warm’. Which they did beautifully and then, as always, we added black, mind just a little, to take the edge off, to give it a bit of mood. Should have kept a pot cause it’s super pretty. I think from memory we mixed red and brown and black, just fiddled gently until it was right. We get asked a lot about the colours on our walls and if it makes you nervous to DIY mix we suggest showing a professional a pic and seeing what they can come up with. Ask for a test pot either side of the colour, one lighter, one darker, and make sure to test your wall first. Good luck friends. Night night. 💙RCx
