CASTLE brings you sunny things for the home, including bedlinen and artwork. Considerable interest ensured CASTLE quickly became a commercial venture.

CASTLE was founded in 2008 by Rachel Castle with a small range of bedlinen made for friends and family. The brand represents a love of beautiful, often handcrafted or handprinted, pieces for the home. Rachel Castle has spent the past 20 years working in the homewear industry both in Australia and abroad. Prior to CASTLE, Rachel was joint founder of London-based branding and design agency, The Nest

, and before that, worked for The Conran Shop in the UK. She regularly styles and writes for Australian lifestyle magazines, and currently lives in Sydney. All handmade artworks are sewn by Rachel Castle and her very patient and loving mother, Jillian Patching.

Every single thing this sweater says all us girls have said on repeat, repeatedly, over and over again. All the letters and little motifs have been hand drawn by me, and I will wear this when I want to be good and positively vibe myself. 💙RCx

If I had a grandchild I would frame this for above the cot in their little bedroom in my house. Not that I’ve made this room in my head a billion times, OK I have. One day. Making things for little people is one of my favourite things to do, and somewhere I go creatively without for a second realising it. Why? Cause it calms my eyes down, is kind to my nervous system, and is unapologetically cute. New embroidery online now. 💙RCx

I know it’s a trend but it’s one that goes way back for me. My mother Jilly decked my teenage bedroom with every single ruffle she could, bedlinen and curtains and cushions, allllll with ruffle. And I LOVED IT and still do. If a ruffle cushion could talk it would say ‘look at me I’m the fun one’. In cotton poplin and cotton knit. 💙RCx
