Spring has sprung and its the season for new things! Big things, apparently!

Did 2 piece workshop a couple of years ago and haven't really tried using the technique since. But, I've been inspired by .throws.clay and thought I'd give it a crack 💪🏾

My throwing tekkers have definitely improved 🤭 chuffed with these big babies. They're far from perfect, but the start of some fun new work i think 👀

A little trip down memory lane 💭

After the markets on Sunday, seeing lots of studio friends make their FIRST SALES!!! It got me thinking about mine

Here, I was a year into my journey everything was lilac and wobbly and a bit how's it going (as the aussies like to say). But I was lucky to have my little big sis come and visit and help me with my first ever market

I remember being so surprised that people liked and bought the things I hated and didn't pick up the pots I thought were great 🤷🏾‍♀️ The day ended, and I'd sold half of what I turned up with. It was a proud potter moment! 🥰

Those of you starting your journey, as a maker of any kind, sharing your work definitely helps you develop and grow as a creative. Art is wonderfully subjective, what you adore, others might overlook, and vice versa.

So keep the bits that feel good, let go of what doesn’t, and above all, keep playing ✨❤️🏺
