Toy Rotation — why is it soo important?💡
One of the most simple actions you can incorporate into your child’s play environment can make the biggest difference.
Here some reasons why we love to rotate our playroom toys —
1. Reduces overstimulation & clutter in the play area, allowing your child to play in an open and simplified space
2. Improved concentration and focus — less is more. When a child has fewer toy options they are more inclined to really explore the 3-5 toys that are available to them and concentrate on the various ways the toy can be used!
3. Promotes creativity and open ended play — when a child is given too many options they do not tend to use their imagination. Our favourite saying goes “children should get bored of their toys” as this helps them to use their imagination and skills to work out different ways to use that toy which will then excite them again!
