Using only premium Italian and English fabrics that are exclusive to our collection. Raised in Naples, the world of men's suiting was always going to be in my DNA, with my passion for menswear evident at an early age. With over 20 years experience in the industry, my acquired knowledge over this period allows me to meet all your sartorial needs, be they ready to wear or made to measure. Having exercised due diligence, I have been able to source the finest artisans in Italy to produce Italian inspired menswear, now available in Melbourne, Australia. Using only premium Italian and English fabrics that are exclusive to our collection, we work with third-generation family tailors whose attention to detail is second to none, making all our garments unique and of the highest quality. The word Càrnaval exudes feelings of joy, celebration and happiness. Through our journey, we hope that these emotions and our passion translate into the experience that is CÀRNAVAL.

Friends of Little Collins Street.

Melbourne's C*D has many faces in the menswear community, some young and already ahead of their time and some more experienced with a wardrobe you could write a song about. The main goal is taking your time and making yourself happy, possibly buying less, but you'll definitely be buying better.

Featured is our good friend and client with a pair of trousers we recently made from very colourful Donegal Tweed, comfortably paired with Worsted coats or a classic Blazer. The Blazer is a MTO from a rogue piece of Piacenza wool/silk cloth used on our latest RTW suit, internally finished with organic silk lining.

Here are some before and after images of our new Double-Breasted suit that was carefully corrected and had hand finished details added for our client.

Cotton Cashmere is a blend rarely used in shirting, predominantly found in knitwear. However, this subdued blue and navy houndstooth will comfortably assist in the transition to chillier months. The outside of this fabric is slightly brushed, exhibiting the soft touch synonymous with cashmere. We opted for a retro style soft collar perfectly adaptable with flannels or your favourite denim and tailored cotton trousers.

A soft but deep "S" collar roll, compact sturdy two-ply cotton our white Oxford button down shirt is a favourite in any man’s wardrobe. Cut on our house block, what we believe to be well balanced for the gents down under. Proudly made in Italy exclusively for Càrnaval, like all our shirts they feature three hand passages( passaggi a mano), the side gusset, sleeve bar tacks and "zampa di gallina" button attachment.

The fabric of dreams and a favourite amongst the English and Italian tailoring world.

Often referred to by Neapolitan trouser makers as the king of trouser fabrics, due to its drape, elegant slight sheen, and robust longevity. Having made countless Made To Measure trousers for clients from this type of cloth, I thought it would make an exceptional Ready To Wear suit. The earthy tone blends well with accessories, likely with items you currently have in your wardrobe. Don’t be scared!

Navy and red, a timeless classic.

Our interpretation of a classic Navy pinstripe in the perfect weight, as close to a four seasons as you'll get.

It features a light internal canvas making it more breathable, soft shoulders and our new wider trouser design adding a little more drape and comfort, without losing elegance.

Bespoke grade fabric for Ready To Wear.

Traditionally seen as more formal, our first ever Ready To Wear Double-Breasted suit has arrived. Over the years, famous icons have been seen in classic photos, often remembered due to that long curved lapel synonymous with authentic menswear.

The cloth choice is a dark Navy Super 140s lightweight wool with a muted Glen Check. Unveiled in the natural light, it has shades of blue and brown that make mix and matching with accessories a breeze.

The colours are yesteryears classic menswear, in fact you may have seen something similar over the years, whether it be lighter shades here and there, or with a different coloured over check.

This cloth makes for an excellent choice of fabric weight for Melbourne's weather, and could potentially get you through nine months of the calendar year down South. Designed with classic tailoring in mind, but just as comfortable with Denim and Grenadines.
